 No one knows precisely how many Native American women and girls are missing or murdered because some cases go unreported, others aren’t documented thoroughly and there isn’t a specific government database tracking these cases. The issue is gaining political traction as an expanding activist movement focuses on Native women — a population known to experience some of the nation’s highest rates of murder, sexual violence and domestic abuse. Bio

Ruth Mutanda is the founder and CEO of Ruth For Women an organization for abused women and children brought up in abusive homes. She is a survivor of abuse for 32 years.

Ruth is a mother of 3 daughters and 1 son as well as being a grandmother of 4. She was married to a former diplomat for 34 years and they served in the diplomatic service for 12 years (France, Ethiopia and South Africa). Currently finishing her BA Hons in Community Development. She holds a degree in Interior Designing, Theology a Diploma in Hospitality and Events Management and a Diploma in Counselling. She is an entrepreneur and an author.

An estimated 10 million dogs and 4 million cats are slaughtered in China each year for meat. “She is admitted in hospital to deliver a baby she needed blood or she may not survive the doctor said. Despite 4 children including one daughter and three sons she was forced to have more done. This is common in rural areas in Pakistan.”- Noor Ahmed

 

“Today I will write a story of women to you who day before yesterday met me . She was abducted by one of her relatives and kept in his captivity for three years. She was raped for three years by him and his friends.He fathered a baby that he attempted to kill as a result her backbome was badly damaged.”-Noor Ahmed

Noor Ahmet is a human rights representative, pictured here with his beautiful wife. He works to protect women in Pakistan, and his mission is to stop the injustice against women and children. He is a witness of a horrible crimes on a daily bases, and we will work together to raise awareness about the damaging impact gender inequality and obsolete religious and cultural limitations have on the society nowadays.

Bio

Wendy Hullinger is an advocate for domestic violence awareness. She knows first-hand the difficulties of safely-escaping and ending an abusive relationship, after dramatically ending her own 15 year violent marriage. Her message includes the fact that domestic violence is found everywhere and at all social and economic levels. Silence, secrecy, and social stigmas feed and strengthen the violence. Everyone has a responsibility to speak out if they are aware of or witness any domestic violence within their families or communities. She is grateful for those who did that for her and her children, when she couldn’t do it for herself.
