Wendy Hullinger is an advocate for domestic violence awareness. She knows first-hand the difficulties of safely-escaping and ending an abusive relationship, after dramatically ending her own 15 year violent marriage. Her message includes the fact that domestic violence is found everywhere and at all social and economic levels. Silence, secrecy, and social stigmas feed and strengthen the violence. Everyone has a responsibility to speak out if they are aware of or witness any domestic violence within their families or communities. She is grateful for those who did that for her and her children, when she couldn’t do it for herself.

He worked for Caltech in Pasadena (home of the “Big Bang Theory”) and continues to use his fascination with technology in his “Detective Pat O’Malley Steampunk Mystery” series. Jim was also a professor of English for 24 years, and he runs an editing business with his wife, Ellen, in San Diego. He has won many awards, including being a finalist in the Bram Stoker Awards and the Heekin Foundation Awards.

Maralee has several articles published in the ABA Child Law Journal, Women’s E-News, on the problems in our family courts not protecting abused children. Maralee McLean is with Women’s Media Center (WMC), SheSourceExpert, NPEIV (National Partnership to End Interpersonal Violence and is with RAINN speaker bureau. She speaks at Conferences, Law Schools and is a spokesperson for Protective Mother’s. Maralee’s involvement in legislative work spans two decades. She testified before Congress to promote judicial accountability to better protect sexually abused children’s rights in our courts. She has been covered by many local media outlets, and her story has been covered internationally on CNN.
