Bio

Rebecca Fitton is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. In February of 2017 she released her book ‘Wave Rider: Poetic Journey from Abuse to Wholeness,’ a poetic memoir that culminates her long journey to heal from sexual abuse, abandonment, and neglect. Her book exhibits a new world based on wholeness of body, mind, and spirit. Her journey has taken a lifetime. To use the metaphor of waves, sometimes the undertow nearly drowned her?but she survived. Now her beautiful and profound book offers inspiration to others who have also suffered greatly from abuse.

After my son saw the news, showing your picture (California Supreme Court Chief Justices Tani Cantil-Sakauye )and saying that $30 million is missing, he said, “Mom, you do not want to go there. You are telling one fox that another fox raided the hen house. What are you thinking?” I told him, “I agree with you, but they are still researching there. Would you like to send them a message? You never know – maybe someone will hear you.” And he wrote, “. I am Saam, I am a child who put up with all of your abuses I have no vote, no say or voice, yet I think I matter. will you tell them that child abuse destroys our future? Now would you listen to me? I have more scars than friends.” the rage is on, tell your story too, mayday

Authtor Tylor Fulks

Taylor Evan Fulks is a native Texan transplanted years ago to southern Ohio, on the banks of the Ohio River. She is a wife, a mother of two “almost grown” daughters, and does open heart surgery to help pay the bills. Always an avid story-teller, Taylor decided to put her pad and pen where her mouth is. “My Prison Without Bars” is her debut novel. Her writing genre of choice is mystery/romance. Even though her debut novel doesn’t fall into that category, she felt compelled to start with this one, find peace, and put it on the shelf.

Kirkus Review – A debut memoir of survival from an author who finds strength in her religious faith.
“CW Seymore recounts the horrific physical, emotional and sexual abuse she suffered at the hands of her father throughout her childhood. The author maintains a calm, unaffected tone; the memoir is never bitter. Readers will be left with the impression of a woman who endured a traumatic childhood and came to understand how it shaped her; along the way, she maintained a sense of strength driven by both her own personality and the support she drew from her faith.” — Kirkus Review

“Shards of Glass will push all your buttons and wake you up to the reality many of us live with, but seldom acknowledge or write about. It is simultaneously horrific and hopeful, striking a fine balance between facing
down  the barrel of violence and not letting it define who we are or how we survive.”
–Gabriel Constans: Ph.D. Author: “Don’t Just Sit There, Do Something!” “Grief’s Wake Up Call” and“Good Grief: Love, Loss & Laughter.”

“As a Humanitarian and Writer I fully endorse “Shards Of Glass” by CW Seymore. I Commend her Tenacity, Spirit, Faith in GOD and Courage to painfully reveal her story. CW will open wide the eyes of the reader to this
problem and give hope and inspiration to those who have equally suffered the nightmare of abuse and will touch the hearts of all of us to stand up, takenote, be responsible and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Two Thumbs Up! This Book Should Be On The Best Sellers List!”

–Pete DeLorenzo: Nationally recognized; Comedian, Actor, Recording Artist, Producer, Director and  Humanitarian.
